In the old days, when the handle kettles, pans were iron, Ukrainian women to remove them from fire and do not burn your hands, using potholder, in Ukrainian, "Prihvatki".
They were decorated with embroidery - mostly Ukrainian national ornament.
Currently, the "Prihvatki " perform the role of decoration for the kitchen.
Offered "Prihvatka" made on the model of the old, with the Ukrainian national embroidery.
Presented potholder is manufactured in a small workshop, where my girlfriend works. The work is done by machine. This workshop complies with the old traditions of Ukraine.
